Ferenc Hüll

Ferenc Hüll (Slovene: Franc Hül, Prekmurian: Ferenc Hül) (August 28, 1800 – October 28, 1880) was Slovene Roman Catholic priest, dean of the Slovene Circumscription (Tótság) and writer in Hungary.

Hüll was born in Tišina (now Prekmurje, Slovenia). His parents was Imre Hüll and the German Krisztina Hemeczperger. By 1822 was priest, two years live in Veszprém, like educator of György Bezerédj, brother in law of the poet Sándor Kisfaludy.

Between 1824 and 1826 chaplain in Murska Sobota, after priest of the town. By 1840 the dean of the Slovene Circumscription. In 1872 by favour of Franz Joseph I of Austria provost of Szepes-Langeck.

Hüll wrote in Latin language the history of the Murska Sobota parish. Dead in Sobota.
